New Shed & Scoreboard

Work over the last few months to replace the old scorebox and mowers shed  is now nearing completion under the watchful eye of project manager Ian 'Isambard' Spilman. The building, in keeping with it's setting, is a fine replacement and improvement to the ground. Thanks to everyone who has given their time to help. Photos will appear shortly.

Welcome to the Play-Cricket Homepage of Parkhead CC.
Parkhead Cricket Club home to one of the nicest grounds in South Yorkshire.

For the 2017 we have two senior teams playing in the Yorkshire & Derbyshire Cricket League on Saturdays - the first XI looking to try and regain the league title after failing to win it for the third year in a row in 2016. The 2nd XI will be bidding for a return to the 2nd division after relegation in 2016.

On Sundays, the 1st XI will be playing in Division 1 of the Mansfield & District Sunday League.
The Sunday 2nd XI have a near full set of home and away friendly fixtures but we are always keen to hear from clubs to fill the few blanks we still have left .

Unfortunately there will be no junior teams at Parkhead however we are looking to set up evening sessions for 9-11 year olds with a view to having a league side in 2018. Further details will appear in due course.
